Domestic Abuse Policy Update
We have updated our Domestic Abuse Policy to strengthen the support available to tenants and make sure our approach reflects current legislation, guidance and good practice.
The updated policy includes:
- A broader definition of domestic abuse, including coercive control, financial abuse and digital abuse.
- Recognition that children may be victims in their own right where they see, hear or experience domestic abuse.
- Stronger safeguards around safety, confidentiality, children’s rights and support for victim-survivors.
