Auld Friends Share Their Voice with Renfrewshire Council

Our Auld Friends group enjoyed a very interesting and engaging session today with Hanna Dearie from Renfrewshire Council.

Hanna joined us to chat about living in Renfrewshire and to hear directly from local residents about what matters most to them and their communities. The Council is currently looking at how it can help shape local services and support for the future, so this was a great opportunity for our members to share their thoughts, experiences and ideas.

The session sparked plenty of discussion, with members reflecting on the things that make a difference in their daily lives and highlighting what they would like to see for the future. It was fantastic to know that the voices of our local community are being listened to and can help influence future planning and decision-making.

We would like to thank Hanna for taking the time to visit the group and look forward to hearing more about the outcomes of these conversations. We would be delighted to welcome her back for future sessions.

A special thank you also goes to Renfrewshire Council's Winter Connections Fund, which helped us enjoy a lovely lunch of sandwiches, cakes, tea and coffee while we caught up with friends and took part in the discussion.

As always, it was another enjoyable afternoon of conversation, connection and community spirit at Auld Friends.
