We are responsible for the majority of repairs to your home. Under your tenancy agreement, we are responsible for:

  • keeping the building wind and watertight
  • repairs to gutters, downpipes and most drains
  • repairs to roofs, paths, walls, windows, boundary walls and fences
  • repairs to baths, toilets, sinks, basins and kitchen units arising from normal wear and tear
  • repairs to electrical wiring, internal gas piping and fires, central heating and immersion heating systems
  • repairs to broken glass in windows and doors. If your windows are broken deliberately, you must notify the Police immediately
  • repairs to door entry systems and TV aerials
  • repairs to our fixtures and fittings                                                                               The Association will be responsible for undertaking the work, unless the damageis caused by you, someone in your household, or a visitor to your home.

Certain types of repairs, however, are your  responsibility. Please refer to the table in Repairs Responsibility for further clarification.
