Pets

Security

We aim to be fair in responding to requests to keep pets. You may keep a pet within your home if :

  • you have received our written consent, before obtaining the animal. A ‘Pet-Let’ form is available from our office. It is not transferable from one pet to another.
  • you ensure the pet is kept under control at all times and does not cause nuisance. This includes:
    • fouling of gardens, pavements and communal areas;
    • causing fear or danger to other animals, neighbours, visitors or members of the public.

Permission to keep a pet may be withdrawn, if these conditions are not adhered to. If the nuisance or danger continues, you will be in breach of your tenancy agreement and the appropriate action will be taken.
