Ending Your Tenancy

Security

You must give at least 28 days written notice, should you wish to end your tenancy.

You should complete our standard termination form,  which can be obtained from the Download Section, within which you will be asked if prospective tenants can view your home, during the notice period.

A Housing Officer will visit your home to carry out a pre-termination inspection, to ensure that the property is in a suitable condition for re-letting.

All furniture, personal possessions, household and garden rubbish must be removed, before returning the keys to us. A charge will be levied, should the Association have to dispose of items left behind.

The house, fixtures, fittings and decoration must all be left in good order. You will be charged for any repairs required, due to negligence.

Mail should be redirected to your new address and others, such as doctors, clinics, schools, council tax and TV licensing, should be notified.
