Repairs

The Association adheres to Schedule 4 of the The Housing (Scotland) Act 2001, which requires us to ensure, that at the beginning of the tenancy (and subsequently), the house is wind and watertight and, in all other respects, reasonably fit for human habitation.

Right to Repair

Tenants have the right to arrange for certain repairs to be carried out, when our contractor has failed to respond, within the set timescales. An alternative contractor can be used in this event. A compensation payment will be paid in these circumstances.
