Prospective tenants are given our Pre-Tenancy Advice Leaflet which provides practical information on obligations and responsibilities of a tenancy, together with advice on budgeting, finances and a weekly expenditure checklist. A copy of our leaflet can be obtained from our Download Section.

On accepting an offer of housing, tenants will be given information about the right to buy and the obligations they will incur, should that right be exercised. Tenants will be informed of any change in their right to buy entitlement.

Tenants will be given a written tenancy agreement.

Tenants will be given information about our complaints procedure. They will also be offered information on a range of matters, such as our policy on setting rent.

We will consult tenants in advance of any proposed rent increase.  Tenants will be given at least 4 weeks notice of any increase in rent or other charges.
