To combat crime and vandalism within our properties, we would remind residents to close front entrance doors and lock back doors. There is no point having a controlled entry system if doors are left open.

Information on types and costs of locks, or questions on personal or home security are welcomed by the Police's Community Involvement Section.  Each of our areas have community policy officers who can be contacted at the undernoted numbers:

Paisley East:                     0141 532 5938

Paisley North & West:        0141 848 0600

Renfrew:                           0141 532 6100

Johnstone:                        01505 404000

Vandalism

The Association is concerned about damage to gardens and street planters.  These areas are an attractive asset to the local environment.  In order to keep them in good condition for everyone's benefit, we would ask residents to ensure that their children do not cause damage to plants or shrubs.

Another major area of concern is grafitti.  All instances should be reported both to the Association and the police.  The Association will seek to have it removed, as quickly as possible.
